If any image or graphic element goes to the edge or trim you need to extend that image 1/8" beyond the final trim size. This applies specifically to covers. Page layout programs such as Quark and PageMaker will automatically
do some trapping. Placed graphics need to be trapped in the programs
that were used to create them when possible. |
